CIUDAD VIEJA
Ideal for people arriving from Cruises to Montevideo or anyone who wants to discover our history.
We departure from the old city where most of the important history is, as well as ministries, state offices, banks, museums, art galleries, and cultural centers. We will visit the main squares, see the history of the main buildings and all the what you should know about our past from the beginning of our history. Once in the main square, Independance square, we will be able to know the government house, Salvos Palace and the rest and important constructions. We will continue to visit Solis Theatre, the most important theatre in our city to the continue along the coast to discover our famous “Rambla”, the longest in South America which is the common entertaining area of Uruguayans, either after work or at weekends. We arrive till Punta Carretas’s neighborhood to discover the famous Lighthouse and its surroundings, enjoy the coast view from its point to then return to the departure spot.
Two alternative meeting points:
A) We leave from the point of arrival at Montevideo Port, where we will wait for you by the Ministry of Tourism, outside, not inside the port area.
B) We leave from Piedras and Perez Castellanos street.

POCITOS
Discover the full extent of our Rambla!
We departure from Pocitos with a local guide. Excellent ride to appreciate all the Ramblas in Montevideo, where the ride will be along the neighbourhoods.
We start from Pocitos, with its important number of buildings which hold the largest number of inhabitants in Montevideo. We ride along Pocitos, Buceo, Malvin, Punta Gorda, ending in Carrasco, where you can still appreciate constructions from the beginning of last century excelent preserved till our iconic ex Carrasco hotel. Carrasco used to be the former seaside resort of Montevideo that has been transformed into the most luxurious residential area.
We return to the departure spot or the choice to return on your own.

Kibon – Navy Museum (Rich and interesting history inside from Graf Spee) – Sport port: Yatch Club of Montevideo (History, time to enjoy the view) – Oceanographic Museum (History)

Punta Gorda, with visit to the Army Square where you will appreciate one of the most beautiful views of the city.
Entering Punta Gorda along its green roads until we arrive to:
Carrasco, where we will go along the area and will visit: Sofitel – Casino Carrasco Hotel. Emblematic construction from 1921 where the French influence can be admired from the magnificent construction. The Hotel has just been reconstructed, taking great care to every detail.

We will go around Japanese Garden, Rosedal, Charrúas Monument, Carriage Monument, Paseo del Hotel, Teletón, Prado Hotel, Botanical Garden (with entrance), Presidential residence, Soneira Castle to return to Juan Manuel Blanes Museum.
