Ideal Tour for people arriving from Cruises to Montevideo

We departure from the old city where most of the important history is, as well as ministries, state offices, banks, museums, art galleries, and cultural centres. We continue along the coast to discover our famous “Rambla”, the common entertaining area of Uruguayans, either after work or at weekends. We arrive till in Punta Carretas’s neighborhood to discover the famous Lighthouse and its surroundings. We return to the departure spot.

Two alternative meeting points:

A) We leave from the point of arrival at Montevideo Port, where we will wait for you by the Ministry of Tourism, outside, not inside the port area.

B) We leave from Piedras and Perez Castellanos street.

Discover the full extent of our Rambla!

We departure from Pocitos with a local guide. Excellent ride to appreciate all the Ramblas in Montevideo, where the ride will be along the neighbourhoods.

We start from Pocitos, with its important number of buildings which hold the largest number of inhabitants in Montevideo. We ride along Malvin, Punta Gorda, ending in Carrasco, the former seaside resort of Montevideo that has been transformed into the most luxurious residential area.

We return to the departure spot.

Punta Gorda, with visit to the Army Square where you will appreciate one of the most beautiful views of the city.

Entering Punta Gorda along its green roads until we arrive to:

Carrasco, where we will go along the area and will visit: Sofitel – Casino Carrasco Hotel. Emblematic construction from 1921 where the French influence can be admired from the magnificent construction. The Hotel has just been reconstructed, taking great care to every detail.
